Frames Of Reference

This sixteen-page pocket-sized zine contains fourteen of the artist's self-portraits from the early years of her career. Ranging from album covers, portrayals of herself in comic strips, self-portrait photos, and more traditional self-portraits, these works were done both before and after her transition, and offer an interesting look into transition through the lens of a cartoonist.

(Please note that, during the time period of the original publication of this work, the author went by a slightly different name than the one she goes by today.)
